A Message From Our President
Welcome to Sigma Chi
The Gamma Eta chapter is continuing to build on success from past years during this 2020-2021 academic year. This year, we are focusing on increasing participation and improving academics. We are working on a better incentive system for both of these, and worked hard to recruit a pledge class with motivation to succeed and a strong work ethic.
After going all online after spring break last semester, we are all back on campus with 37 brothers and pledges living in the house. We are all happy to be back in Moscow and ready to continue our education and advance the brotherhood. At the same time, we are committed to remaining safe and representing Sigma Chi as the leaders on campus in all aspects, including wearing masks and following all University and IFC guidelines.
As Consul, it is my goal for the Gamma Eta chapter to win a Peterson Significant Chapter Award for the 11th year in a row. We are one of few chapters that has this impressive of a streak, and I’m confident that if we put in the work, we will continue it. The executive board and I are incredibly pleased with how this school year has begun and are excited to see how it unfolds. We know there’s a lot of hard work ahead of us, but we’re off to a strong start.
In Hoc Signo Vinces,
